My heart was broken when I heard of your dad's and my favorite uncle's passing. Even though I have not seen him or his familiy for years, I can tell you that he was larger than life and very special. He was an amazing, wonderful man. I'll always remember him for his dry wit, smooth talking and smile. It was an honor to be his niece.

Uncle Bill was an Angel when my Aunt Julia became ill. His devotion to his wife and children...

Robyn, Kathy and Ward,
So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I saw him in May when I was in Roanoke. He looked good and still had his great dry wit.
I loved his laugh. I'm sure you will miss him. We all will. All of my family sends our Love and Prayers. Jane Anne, Bill, Sheri and Billy We love you.

God Blessed our family to have a dad who cared for all of us. It is very sad to lose such an incredible giant of a man!!! He was loving, kind, intelligent, fun to be around, a great father, a great friend. He always had a positive attitude. It was a blessing to be with him the last 3 weeks of his life. He enjoyed scriptures, praying, singing songs and listening to poems before he could no longer communicate. We were blessed to have excellent doctors and nurses at Roanoke...

With sadness do I extend my condolences. Bill was a great friend to all of us Wade's.
