Sad to read of Bill’s passing. We worked at SCSO and became very good friends. Bill was the one guy I always looked forward to seeing on the job or anyplace. His joyful hand shakes and hugs brightened my days.

I went to school with Bill and greatly enjoyed the last few years when our class met monthly for lunch. Bill was always there, always smiling, always making you feel like he had been waiting just to see you. His hugs were warm and generous and his conversations interesting and usually funny. My favorite school memory of Bill was in eighth grade. Mrs. Irwin was our teacher and we were putting on the musical Showboat. She wanted some guys to dress as can-can dancers for the show. Bill volunteered and played his part with gusto! That’s a lot of confidence for an eighth grade boy, and it pretty much defines Bill. Rest In Peace Bill, we will miss you and never forget you. My condolences to Jill and his family.

Our condolences to Jill and Bill's family and friends. Known him (and Jill) since our high school days. Great smile and seemed to be always laughing and enjoying life! Enjoyed him!

Bill will be greatly missed. He was such a special person - his huge smile, great big hugs and fun-loving attitude. It was wonderful knowing you, Bill. Until we meet again.
