Jack E. Evenson

Jack Eugene Evenson, age 63, born on October 6th, 1962, and passed away on February 28, 2026.

Jack was born in Bentwaters AFB, England, to John and Charlotte Evenson. Jack was a man devoted to his family and friends

He dedicated 38 years of service to Tinker Air Force Base, where he worked as a supervisor. Jack took great pride in his career and the relationships he built throughout nearly four decades of hard work and leadership.

Above all, Jack was a family man. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Christina Evenson; his son, Jack Evenson II; his daughters, Tina and Christina; Valarie and her husband John Morris; and Tara Woder and her partner Wes. He is also survived by his sisters, Cherri Carr and her husband Jerry, and Meta and her late husband Carl; his brother, Lee Evenson and his wife Diana; as well as many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him immense pride and joy.

Jack had a passion for life's simple pleasures such as playing pool, riding his Harley, and watching OU sports. Jack created memories that will be treasured forever.

He will be remembered for his dedication, his strength, and the deep love he had for his family and friends. His presence will be greatly missed, but his legacy lives on in the many lives he touched.
