I can't believe it has been 12 years since my dear buddy Bill left us. Gosh, we shared so many stories together as we both worked in Baltimore at the Sunpapers, Bill on the morning paper and myself on the Evening Sun side...lots of laughs covering the preps, the colleges and the Orioles and Colts. Billy was a great friend, colleague and someone who could make you laugh and scream in the same sentence. We had some great times together in the 1970s when we competed against each other while covering the high schools, then college beats, and later the Orioles and Colts at the Sunpapers. Bill was a hard worker, always digging for a story. But he had a real compassionate side to him, and we shared more than a few laughs on the basketball court. "World B" was his nickname and another one...
