To the Grogan family,

I was so saddened to hear of Bill's passing. I was Bill's secretary at IBM Owego when he was the Controller. We had a special working relationship which worked into a friendship over the years. Bill made working fun and it was, by far, the most fun job I had in Owego. He knew how to get things accomplished while having fun at it. We kept in touch for a while after he left Owego, but, sadly, we eventually lost touch with each other. He was just a great guy...

Lorraine, we were so saddened to hear of Bill's passing. It was so very clear how much you both enjoyed each others company and laughter. You were both very lucky people. He is remembered fondly.

My sincere condolences to the Grogan family. I met Bill in the late 60's right before he became the Owego Controller in IBM . in addition to having great common sense and financial expertise he always maintain honesty and integrity. Working with him was an honor. Our paths crossed again when Bill was in Westchester county (IBM heaven).Bill eventually became the Division Contoller of IBM 's largest and most important Division.
