Not sure what to say?

He always remember everyone´s name

Presented the SFSU certificate of recognition to the Hansen Families. A great man, the greatest generation lives on through decades in contributions, colleagues, family, communities and friends. Thank you Mr. Hansen for your friendship.

Many of us from the old Pacifica High school remember Mr. Hansen. He had a presence that is not forgotten. Carmen Jimenez Mayne Class of 1961

Lon & The Hansen Family, There's not enough space to write down all the ways your Dad helped people. As a teacher & Principal & I'm sure as your father he was a shinning example of what those titles mean...I've never known a better person in my life. He set the standard for all those that came after him. He knew everyone who passed through NGHS for example & he always treated us like family & friends. He was a special person & I thank god that I was able to know him on my own journey...

Mr. Hansen was a huge influence in the lives of his students. He encouraged you to make a difference in what ever you were doing. His stoic, friendly and enthusiastic presence gave all he touched a sense that they mattered, were respected and that he believed in them. I ran into him 20+ years after I graduated and we talked as if no time had passed. It was as if we picked up where we were the last time we were together. I am grateful to have known him. Bryan Knox NGHS Class of 1984

As my high school Principal from 1965-1969, I had/have an enormous respect for him. My thoughts and prayers for his family. RIP Mr. Hansen.

My sympathies to Mr. Hansen's family. I have only one significant memory of Principal Hansen, but it´s a fond one. When some friends and I decided to make a Super8 movie placing Apocalypse Now in Northgate, we needed an authority figure to set the plot in motion. We asked Principal Hansen, and he agreed to take on the role, which he performed enthusiastically. His engagement with student activities was extraordinary and made a lasting impact.

He was the principal when I attended PH High. He was a fun, patient, loving person. He walked the halls and everyone knew him. I am so sorry for your loss.

Loved growing up with him living in the corner house of our street. Such a nice man! I always drive by "our" street when I visit Walnut Creek. Nancy Ward Evanoff
