Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Bill's death and I am so sorry. I met him in San Antonio when I played with the TVA. He was a great person and kind and gentle man. Although I can remember him tackling another musician at a bluegrass festival, just for fun! He was lots of fun. He will be missed.

Bill was the most exceptional man that I've ever known. He loved his children dearly, and He made me feel loved daily. He always provided assistance and protection eagerly. He was extremely talented in guitar banjo, and his voice. His intellect and personality never failed to entertain, and he was an excellent writer. i remember bill and steven bruton from stripling jr high. although i can't say we ever had a real friendship just being who he was made a very strong and lasting impression on my life. i always knew he was bound for greatness and would impact the people and world around him. i hope ill see him in heaven and ill have just one more chance to tell him i would have given anything just to be your friend.

Thank You

It was an honor to me having Bill as a friend. Bill was a special guy and it saddens me that he´s no longer with us. He will be missed.

Years ago I was introduced to Bill after Doc Hamilton gave him my phone number. Bill and I exchanged several calls and letters. I've had a web page up for a long time, but it is now my tribute to Bill* , May He Rest in Peace. My prayers and sympathies to Suzanne and all his extended family and friends. * https://frobbi.org/slides/holden/
