Not sure what to say?

Hi to Sylvia and others from Bruce Hardy, a classmate of Bill's at Vic High and a friend in subsequent years. Many years ago, Laurie and I lived on Union Road, without knowing that Bill and Sylvia lived nearby. We moved from there in about 1990 or so and never lived near Bill again, but we did visit them at some point. We were in Belgium in late April through May. At some point, we somehow learned about Bill's passing - I forget how. We have been back for awhile now, obviously,...

Deepest sympathy Sar-Jeannie. I only just found out. Hugs.

Aah Billy . . . we had some good times together with Campbell, Watt and Bowering - even though I didn't know you for nearly long enough, and the other three would say the same. You were a rare pal, and I can hear your voice and your laugh now. I miss you Billy. There never was anyone like you.

I was so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was so kind to me and to all who had the joy of getting to know him. He truly impressed upon me the value of family and was the epitome of mirth. I have so many fond memories of time spent at Hosie Hollow, and the best of them were when he was there. My prayers go up for Sylvia, Caldon, Grayson, Sara-Jeanne, and his whole family. I am thankful for knowing Mr Hosie, Sir.

So sorry to hear about our cousin Billy. Lovely man.

Sylvia, so sorry to hear of you loss. Sending our warmest thoughts to all of the Hosie family. Brian and Sharon Barker

Sylvia. I am so sorry that he has left us all. What fun times I remember during Smile Show and our many after parties at Bebe´s. He was one of a kind And what a voice!

Sincere condolences to Sylvia and the family.

Syliva, I was so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. What a legacy he has left behind, not only in Victoria, but across Canada. I so remember those early days at Vic High performing with you and Bill. And all the years hearing about his and your musical accomplishments. Thinking about those times brings a smile for sure. You and your family are in my thoughts. I know the strength of family will support you.
