Dear Tre, I know that you loved your Daddy, and he Loved you. I know that on Tuesday he knew that you were there and that you would not leave until the rescue team brought him out. He would be so proud of you, his daughter standing tall as they brought him out, being there, making sure that he was not alone. I know that he is Beaming with Love and Ever so Proud.

Jenny, I have known your dad since the early 80's when I started at the VAMC and we became friends. I know how much he loved his family. He was well respected by many. This is such a tragedy and great loss to all who knew him. My heart is overwhelmed with sadness for you and your family. My prayers are with you.
