Not sure what to say?

Dear Gretchen, Jeff, Steve and Anne,
I met Bill when I was fresh out of Stanford at just 21, twenty-four years ago. He always made a huge impression on me, mostly with his generousity of spirit and twinkling good looks (those extraordinary good looks were inherited by all his children, by the way!). He instantly and always made me feel welcome and part of the family, which was very significant to me. I intuited that the kind man I knew also contained a naturally intense and powerful...

Dear Gretchen and Family,

Bill was a very special gentleman.
He has left a wonderful legacy in so many parts of the country. We shall miss his endearing personality and generosity. Much love to you all.

Jean, Joe and Family

Gretchen,
Just learned... My deepest sympathies. You're in my thoughts and prayers. Always, Rob

Bill Kimball watching the Queen's Golden Jubilee parade from the steps of St. Mary le Strand Church, London, June 2002

We were lucky enough to have the privilege and honour of meeting Bill and Gretchen Kimball when they came to London with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation for the Queen's Golden Jubilee in 2002. Bill was a delight to be with; a truly generous gentleman, in all the best senses of...

My condolences to the family. I had the opportunity to work for Bill over the last twenty years and can state, unequivocally, that he was the most wonderful client I ever had the pleasure of knowing.

What an amazing man and an amazing life and I consider myself to have been very fortunate to have known him.

Aunt Gretchen-
You are in our thoughts and prayers. Bill will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved him!
Love,
James, Katie, Torrie & Justin
