Mr. Bill Knorr was a very favorite teacher of mine at Salem Lutheran Blue Island , Illinois. If my memory serves me he taught 5th & 6th grade and when the class of 1961 moved into 7th & 8th grade he followed to be our teacher. We had the largest class ever to graduate from Salem Lutheran. He was such a fun teacher and really cared about his students. I have so many fond memories of his smile & laugh. He would tease me that with the last name of "Zar" that it had to be something like...
