William Kotansky Obituary
Of Akron, NY passed away on September 9, 2025. Bill was the beloved husband of 45 years to Patricia; devoted father to Christopher (Paula) Cimerman and Anmarie Kotansky – Parucki; loving grandfather of Brody Parucki, Brendan (Lauren) Cimerman, Mallory Parucki, Ella Gugliuzza and Carson Gugliuzza; dear brother of the late Robert (Patrice) Kotansky. Bill's Family will receive friends on Tuesday September 16th from 4 - 7PM at the DENGLER, ROBERTS, PERNA FUNERAL HOME, 8630 Transit Rd., East Amherst, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday September 18th, 9AM at St. Teresa of Avila RC Church, 5771 Buell St. Akron NY 14001 followed by inurnment and Military Honors at the Western New York National Cemetery in Corfu, NY. Please assemble at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's memory to Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo, Roswell Park Alliance Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.denglerrobertspernaeastamherst.com

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Patricia, just had to express my condolences for your loss. Many years have passed since I have seen you and Bill, however, I still remember picking up my bike at your house.(over 30 years ago) You were one of my favorite couples when you were with the NFBC. His spirit will live on!
