Bill was a fine man. I'm so glad we knew him through church and he was always very suportive of the Mio AuSable Schools. Our sincere condolences to his family.

Bill was always aware of the lower level State Parks employees. I first met Bill when I was a seasonal ranger at Hartwick Pines State Park and he was the District Park Supervisor. When he came to Pines, he always stopped at the day use office a visited with me. Much later in life when I was on the Region III Parks staff, he was very friendly and encouraged my thoughts.
