William Lanham Obituary
WILLIAM GODDARD LANHAM, 84, of Memphis, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, January 29, 2006. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 31 at Kirby Woods Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Mississippi State University and a member of Kirby Woods Baptist Church. Bill served in the Army Air Corps. during WWII and was a retired real estate agent. He leaves his wife, Fay Lanham; two daughters and their husbands, Martha and Paul Townsend, and Beth and Doug Davis. He also leaves two grandchildren, Bryan and Natalie Townsend. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Tlapaneco Indian Ministries, P.O. Box 241805, Memphis, TN 38124-1805, or Kirby Woods Baptist Church. Precious Fay and girls, I know your hearts are sad today but also rejoicing knowing that your sweet husband and Dad are resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Beth - I did want you to also know that I called Sarah (Holloway) Gass today to let her know of your Daddy's homegoing. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
