Not sure what to say?

Mr. Limbrick was one of a handful of teachers I've had in high school or college that had the ability to make you want to learn and made it fun. Photography was the best class ever taught at Armuchee. Learning how to gather wild plants and cooking them in Biology class was a valuable tool I still think about today. Mr. Harris teaching math and Mr. Shelnutt teaching English were right up there with Mr. Limbrick in my high school experience. I remember one man at Georgia Tech that taught...

Didnt know Mr. Limbrick had passed. I can honestly say I stunk at Biology and Chemistry, but he made stinking at something fun. I will never forget how he used to peel an apple in class or raising fruit flies in a piece of carpet on the wall. Always had a funny way of getting someone's attention, "Ya'll Listen"

It was a great privilege to have known Chip over the years since school days in Fredericksburg. He was a very unique person with a great interest in all things and a terrific sense of humor! It is no wonder he was such a wonderful teacher. Bobby and I remember fondly our visit to his home in Armuchee. He and Ellen were so gracious and kind to us! We will greatly miss him.

May God comfort you each and every day.Love to you all. Helen and Paul Hunter.

We are so sorry for this loss. Chip was an inspiration to so many, and we are blessed to have wonderful memories with him.

Were so sorry for your loss, LB. Chip was such an interesting man to talk to, and obviously a great father and leader. Thinking of you and sending love to your family from across the country. Xoxo

Sincere condolences to the family. You are blessed to have had Chip in your life. Chip was one of the best and most dynamic teachers I've ever had. He cared and he challenged. I recall riding my bicycle around collecting plant specimens for one of his projects. My first concert was due to him. My first Chinese food was provided by him. I would sometimes visit his home while I was in college and very much regret not staying in touch. We all want to leave the world a better place. He...

Biology is the study of life. Mr. Limbrick taught us more than how to study life...but how to live it.

I was just talking about him to my daughter the other day. I had thistle in my yard and I told her about frying the thistle and making Rose petal cake and how much I loved that class and she looked at me and said "momma how many times are you going to tell that same story". He made class so fun to be there every day. He was a wonderful person and teacher. You will be in our thoughts and prayers and I pray that God will comfort you and keep you during this time.
