Bill truly was like a brother to me, and he will be greatly missed. Spending time with him was always pleasurable. Bill was a natural leader, very intelligent, and a visionary, but at the same time, he was humble and always polite. I often think of our days together, and these thoughts always make me smile. I met Bill in the mid 80's when I started in commercial real estate at an Society of Industrial and Office Realtors meeting with my Dad and Brother. He was one of our favorite Florida members of SIOR. I got to know him even better when I moved to Lakeland in 1997. He was always willing to help a competitor. He was a real gentleman. Steinbauer Associates Inc, SIOR and the Lakeland Association of Realtors and the City of Lakeland have lost a leader, mentor, a business associate and a friend....
