Not sure what to say?

I met Bill Lott about four decades ago. Through the years I appreciated his friendship, but mostly I enjoyed his joint interest in the rich history of Williamson County.

He was indeed "honorable"; not just from that title he received from being elected to the bench, but the way he lived his life.

He will be missed!

Judge Lott was a person of great charachter. He possessed all the traits of great men and leaves a legacy that gives an example of how we should live our life. He was such a help to my family in some tough emotional times.

Charlotte (Ickes) Franklin

In 1957 Assistant County Attorney Bill Lott hired me for a summer job after I graduated from GHS. I was kept busy as the only office staff member for both him and the County Attorney in their office at the top of the stairs on the top floor of the Court House. He was a terrific boss and a great and kind man.

I met Judge Lott when I probated my mother's will. She said he was a honest person and someone I could talk to and trust. He truly had my mother's heart and and trust, he was a good person.

I didn't know Judge Lott well, but my parents and grandparents Ischy (all deceased now) certainly did. We are so sorry to hear of his passing, and express our sympathy to the whole family.

Judge Lott was a wonderful, caring and sweet man. A true gentleman with a tender smile. My marriage was the last that he performed. Thank you Judge Lott for your kindness, sweet memories and many dances. You will be missed. God Bless to his family and loved ones.

I remember Judge Lott as being a fair and evenhanded man who never lost his sense of humor. It was a pleasure to have known him as a man and a Judge.

Our deepest condolences

Judge Lott was a great man and a dedicated public servant who made significant contributions to our system of justice. My sympathies are extended to members of his family.
