Not sure what to say?

To say I enjoyed Bill Moore's two-semester Asian History course ('68-'69) would be an understatement. His approach to the serious business of learning was one of life's most valuable lessons to me. He also epitomized, always, two of the characteristics I value most in a person: solid judgment and balance. The world is a lesser place without him.

I had bill for every class he tought at SB Valley College in the early 60s. He was the best teacher I ever had, and inspired me aand several of my friends to continue my education. He was a great man.

If this is the Bill Moore I had for Political Science at SBVC in 1959 I send my sincere condolences. He was the most impressive professor I had as a naive freshman and inspired me to continue my education at the graduate level.I will never forget the time he spent with me on a paper about the "Impeachment of Andrew Johnson."

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I attended SBVC in the mid 1950's and had Dr. Moore as an instructor. He was a real inspiration to me as I went on to teach American Government in the public schools for 20 years. I will never forget him. May God bless him.

He was my boss years ago. He was much admired, such a good man. My sympathies to his family.
