Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel Obituary

It’s with great sadness that we announce that our beloved father, husband, and friend Bill Morrison has passed away.

Bill grew up in Pensacola Beach and Gulf Breeze, FL. Though he lived in Florida most of his life, he had a special connection to the town of Sewanee, TN, where he...

Not sure what to say?

Why is it we are so late to revitalize old friendships. Billy and I spent some good times together in the 60s and early 70s. My sympathy to all the family. Philip Dyson, sewanee class of 1967.

We met in 1973 in Gulf Breeze @ Stewart & Harriet's hoe across the street where we lived at 217 Pine Tree Dr. Lots of fun time especially at The Trading Post during all day happy hour. What a great friend and it was fun doing deals with you on all sorts of neat treasures. I was so shocked I left word for Arthur to ask Cathy to call me so we could stay in touch. Unfortunately I have never heard from her. Miss you and your wonderful family buddy. Look forward to picking up where we left...

My condolences to Bill's family. Our families were close from the beach days and then later as neighbor's in Gulf Breeze too. I feel like I've lost a big brother. I am sure Kate and Mary along with other family members will be there to great him in heaven. God Bless you guys.

Hello Beth, William and Sarah. Thinking of you on this anniversary date. Bruce Jones Jr. would have been 82 yesterday on March 9th. Mary Jones

My Sympathy. We were old Gulf Breeze neighbors from way back.

I knew Bill since 1987. I stopped by the Trading Post this evening to say hi (as a lot of people did after work) I found out about his passing from some guys enjoying the evening. Bill was a great guy, always enjoyed the stories and the items in his pawn shop. Pensacola has lost another piece of history :-(

I just learned of Bill's death, Beth, Sarah and William. Sending my deepest sympathy to each of you. I had so many good times with Bruce at The Trading Post and with all of you.

Mary Jones

Dear Cathy~My deepest sympathies are exended to you and the entire Morrison family.

Bill was more than a friend to me, he was an everyday part of my life! Over the last 30 years we became family. I am honored I had the opportunity to be his friend.
