Bill was my godfather, and a very important part of my life. Spending time with Bill would lighten my heart and sharpen my intellect. Please accept my deepest condolences.

From Spirit Bear to Water Ouzel, and the special places they occupy, all God's creatures were in his heart.

Thanks Bill, for the teaching.
And yes, the good cheer!

Bill was a great resource to me and a delight to know.
I miss him and the opportunity to hear him.
He had great hopes for Gavin and I'm sure he was very pleased at the outcome of the election.

I did volunteer work for Bill when he ran for State Senator in 1968. He also ran for supervisor in 1967, and I supported him then. I was involved in the San Francisco Young Democrats back then. Bill was a great human being!

At one moment in life;, I witnessed his goodness, his problem solving ability and his capability to see an opportunity..
I will cherish that moment.

You will always be remembered with great respect and honor. God Bless you.

I have forgot much, Cynara, gone with the wind

Dancing, to put thy pale, lost lilies out of mind
But I was desolate and sick of an old passion
Yea, all the time, because the dance was long
I have been faithful to thee, Cynara, in my fashion
