Sorry to hear of Father Bill's passing. He was a class mate and old friend, growing up in Schuylkill Haven together.

Fr. Onushco's guidance and friendship was an integral part of my memories of Nativity High School. He was truly beloved by many of the class of '81.

Father Onushco was to me the epitome of what it means to serve in the priesthood. I had many great teachers in high school, but he was far and away the best. He was intelligent, thoughtful, and dedicated to his students. He was one of my heroes. A great man who touched many lives and he will be missed.

I will always remember you Fr. Bill. I knew you at Sacred Heart in West Reading, and we met again when I was the director of development at Nativity BVM High School. You always came in to talk with me after teaching your classes. You shared names of possible major donors and other alumni from Nativity to me! I loved those times we had together. You'll always be in my heart!

We give thanks for his service to the Lord and and the many times he brought the Lord's love to others. No question the Lord welcomed him with open arms. We have been praying for him and now we can pray to him asking him to take our needs to the Lord. JOE Rock
