To The Family of William Parker, Jr.:
Dr. Parker served on the Board of Ida Barbour Early Learning Center for six years from 2002-2008. He served as the Chaplain and Parliamentarian. We truly appreciate the volunteer service and advice he offered to assist us in providing quality care and education for the children ages 6 weeks-7years. We will also miss his unique humor.

William had a big heart, especially for helping others. His work with the Ida Barbour Early Learning Center is a testimony of his love for education. My love and prayers are with his family.

It is with a sad heart the I read of Williiams death. I know that he had a full life and touched the hearts of many. May his family take joy in the life that he lived.

I will never forget the sound of Dr. Parker's voice as he prayed so intimately to the Father. I always felt as if I were eavesdropping on his private time with God. He was a compassionate, caring and sincere man with a sense of humor. He truly loved God and I know, without a doubt, that he is today in paradise. May God comfort the family at this time of sorrow.

My heart goes out to the family of Dr. Parker, and I send my condolences. I am a former student of Dr. Parker and will miss him deeply! Dr. Parker helped me out a lot of days when I didn't understand the work that was assigned, however he stayed their until I got it! My prayers are with you.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. May God continue to be with the family.
