well, yesterday was another very hard day for me. tried to keep busy and focused but sometimes your memory snuck up on me. missing you and mom more than ever and wishing... sent the email about christmas eve and everyone is coming to my house. it will be a very difficult time again with both you and mom missing but we must go on. keeping our chins up as mom always said, but that's difficult to do somedays.

Mom's service was so nice today and she looked beautiful. hearing all the stories of you and her and your life together, from your wedding to your dancing at parties and friends at the Hogan's, all were hard to hear but a joy at the same time. You and Mom had some loyal and loving friends and they shared stories with us today. People we had not seen in years were there, reminding us of years passed.
