William R. Pollock
William R. Pollock passed away peacefully at home on June 17, 2022. He was 94. He was born on December 16, 1927 in Marianna, PA. He enlisted in the US Army and while there married Capt. Jane Devlin. She predeceased him after 41 years of marriage. After 22 years in the US Army he went on to work at the IRS until his retirement in 1989.
He is survived by his two children William R. and Gabriele C. Pollock both of Falls Church, VA and two sisters, Mary Ann Pollock Wolfe and Barbara Pollock Armenini both of Washington, PA.
Viewing is Sunday, June 26, from 1 o.m. to 5 p.m. at Murphy's Funeral Home, Falls Church.
Mass of Christian Burial is Monday, June 27, 10 a.m. St. James RC Church, Falls Church. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
