Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to learn of Mr Powell's passing. Praying for your family.

Me and my Second Dad.

my John Wayne
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn's rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush,
Of quiet birds circled flight
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there. I did not die.

Xmas 2009

The abounding adoration my family and I have felt from everyone who knew my father has been truly great! The man was dealt life and he handled it with courage and grace. Hopefully we can carry on these traits in memory of him!

I have very fond memories of playing with Mary Helen at her home when we were young girls and the kindness of her parents. Mr. Powell was a wonderful father and I know he will be missed dearly.

I have always had fond memories of Bill from when I worked for Capitol Chevrolet. My thoughts and prayers are with you Debra

I am sorry for your loss. Mr. Powell was one of the very generous and gregarious Vanderbilt Alumni that made new student athletes feel welcome and confirm that they made a good decision to come to Vanderbilt. His support of Vanderbilt Football was an encouragement to every player that had the privilege to meet him. May God be merciful to him and may he rest in peace.
