I was a good friend of the late Paul Clancy, retired Captain, BFD. Years ago, Paul was the maritime Captain of Engine 47, one of the two Boston Fire Boats. Bill was one of the Firefighters who worked the same shift as Paul. I visited the fire boat often and became quite friendly with Bill. I am so sorry for your loss. I did not see your dad more than a few times but new he was an awesome person. my prayers are for you all.

My thoughts, and prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult transition. Your Dad was a man of true strength, kindness and integrity. He was always watching out for everyone in the neighborhood including my dog Leo. I will miss him sitting in his chair on his porch waving as people walked by.
