Not sure what to say?

I WAS ASSIGNED TO DR ROGERS IN NURSING SCHOOL AND SO OF COURSE I TOOK MY 3 CHILDREN TO HIM. HE NEVER STEERED ME WRONG. I TRUSTED HIM COMPLETELY AND LOVED HIM,AS DID MY KIDS. WHAT A SPECIAL PLACE IN HEAVEN HE MUST HAVE!

I was greatly saddened when my sister Dixie informed me of Dr. Rogers passing. As she stated, and to the best of my memory,he was the first and only physician we had as children growing up.I still remember to this day that he had a way of giving that much needed shot of penicillin without the slightest bit of pain, and believe me at 4 or 5 years old that was very important.I feel that with his passing, an era of kind, compassionate, and caring physicians has also passed. My heart goes out to...

My condolences to Dr. Rogers family. He will certainly be missed by many. My three sons received excellent care from him. He was never too busy to return a phone call or to reassure a worried mother. And when my family went through financial difficulty years ago and I was unable to pay for medical care, he told me to bring them in anyway!! Doctors like him are too few. He was much admired!

Dr. Rogers was one of the kindest, most compassionate people I have ever met. I loved his no-nonsense, down-home approach, which was coupled with his sincere desire to relate to his "little patients". This was evident in his great selection of "ties"! My children were very small when my husband died in an automobile accident. I remember bringing one of the kids into his office shortly afterwards. The very first thing he did was hug me, gave me his condolences, and told me if I did not have...

To Lenora and your entire family, I send my deepest condolences. You have lost a father who was "one of a kind."
I will remember him not only as a great pysician and Medical Advisor but also as a man who was always there to share his time, knowledge, and a good joke with others.
He will be missed by all who knew him.

DR ROGERS WAS MY SONS JAMES AND JOSEPH DR FOR MANY YEARS. I WAS SO SORRY TO READ ABOUT HIS DEATH. HE WAS A FINE DR AND A WONDERFUL PERSON. MAY GOD BE WITH HIS FAMILY AT THIS TIME.

DR.ROGERS WAS THE BEST DOCTOR THERE WILL EVER BE. HE WAS MY HUSBANDS PEDIATRITION AS WELL AS MY TWO BOYS. HE WAS THE FIRST TO DETECT MY SON HAD ASTHMA, WE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HE HAD IT. HE ALWAYS RETURNED PHONE CALLS AND MADE FIRST TIME MOM'S FEEL SO AT EASE KNOWING HE WAS THERE FOR YOU ANY TIME YOU NEED'ED HIM. HE WILL BE SADLY MISSED.

Our most sincere condolences to the family. I knew Bill since I was an intern at City many years ago. I also looked for him monthly at the Retirees Luncheon. He always had something new to add to our gathering.
Requiescat in pace.

Dr. Rogers cared for both of my children until the were grown. I never worried when he saw them. He had a knack of knowing just what was wrong. We need Doctors like him today. He will be greatly missed.
