I was greatly saddened when my sister Dixie informed me of Dr. Rogers passing. As she stated, and to the best of my memory,he was the first and only physician we had as children growing up.I still remember to this day that he had a way of giving that much needed shot of penicillin without the slightest bit of pain, and believe me at 4 or 5 years old that was very important.I feel that with his passing, an era of kind, compassionate, and caring physicians has also passed. My heart goes out to his family.

My condolences to Dr. Rogers family. He will certainly be missed by many. My three sons received excellent care from him. He was never too busy to return a phone call or to reassure a worried mother. And when my family went through financial difficulty years ago and I was unable to pay for medical care, he told me to bring them in anyway!! Doctors like him are too few. He was much admired!

Dr. Rogers was one of the kindest, most compassionate people I have ever met. I loved his no-nonsense, down-home approach, which was coupled with his sincere desire to relate to his "little patients". This was evident in his great selection of "ties"! My children were very small when my husband died in an automobile accident. I remember bringing one of the kids into his office shortly afterwards. The very first thing he did was hug me, gave me his condolences, and told me if I did not have insurance, that he would treat my children for free, as long as they were his patients. His generosity so touched my heart, and this remains my fondest memory to this day. My deepest sympathy to Rosaria, his children, stepchildren, and all who were close to him.

To Lenora and your entire family, I send my deepest condolences. You have lost a father who was "one of a kind."

I will remember him not only as a great pysician and Medical Advisor but also as a man who was always there to share his time, knowledge, and a good joke with others.

He will be missed by all who knew him.

WHERE DO I START ?

DR. ROGERS WAS MY CHILDRENS PEDIATRICIAN FROM 1989 UNTIL HIS REITREMENT. I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND A DR. THAT IS ABLE TO COMPETE. DR. ROGERS WAS SO COMPASIONATE AND CARING NO MATTER WHAT THE AILMENT WAS. THE TIES WERE THE BEST TOO. MY CHILDREN WAS SO HAPPY TO GET A "COIN" AFTER EACH VISIT TO GET A SPECIAL PRIZE FROM THE MACHINE.

OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY GOES OUT TO YOUR FAMILY AT THIS TIME. YOU WILL BE MISSED BY MORE THAN YOU KNOW. YOU REALLY HAVE TOUCHED OUR LIVES AND TOOK GREAT CARE OF MY CHILDREN AND FOR THAT DR. ROGERS, I THANK-YOU EVER SO MUCH!

GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

My brother and I were Dr. Roger's first patients for a house call. We lived on 6th street in Cuyahoga Falls. I am now 62 years old and I can remember it as if it were yesterday. He was a great Doctor and a very compassionate man. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Dr. Rogers was our pediatrician from the time he was a very young doctor. My mom counted on his expertise. She often said she never worried about our many childhood illnesses after consulting with Dr. Rogers, knowing she'd placed us in his good hands. Our family's sympathy on your loss.
