No one, but, NO ONE, will ever have an impact on Baltimore and the people as you had. As a retired State Employee, it was my pleasure to have worked to serve the people under your administration. You left very big shoes to fill...............Sweet Dreams Mr Schaefer

I was saddened to hear the news of the former Governor Schaefer. You left a gift to Baltimore City, and yes we know you cared. You cared about people. You cared about Baltimore, and for that I say thank you. I know you are not gone but just away. Farewell and may you find the rest you deserve for the work you've done will speak for you. God Bless your soul.
