Taking all of us litte turds out on the boat tubing. It was the first time that I had ever been on a tube before with my friends and his daughter. What a wonderful man... generous as hell, sharp as a tax and knew more than most about just about anything. If he didn´t, he could sure as heck figure it out.

We enjoyed meeting him a few years ago when we were researching my husband's family roots. He is descended from the Dennis family who built Beverly mansion. He graciously gave us a tour of the grounds.

Bill Shettle and Peter Clement after winning the US Court Tennis doubles title in 1976. Bill and I won many Whitney Cup team matches for the RCOP for over 15 years at Green Tree on Long Island. He was a tennis, squash and pickle ball player in addition to a court tennis champion. I will always remember his passion and sportsmanship in the many matches we played together. My thoughts are with the Shettle family. Mr. Shettle was a legend at the Racquet Club of Philadelphia. May he continue to beat those chases and may his memory be a blessing.
