Not sure what to say?

A very nice person, great food, and a pretty good golfer and he will be missed

Mr. Shiver was a wonderful man, and he will be missed dearly by his friends and community.

RIP my friend, I wished I got to see you one more time! I will never forget our (CJ , Bill and myself) night before leaving on military overseas assignment, a few beers at the restaurant then Lazy Sands I met Harvey Wall banger, tequila sunrise and some others that night! What great memories....best boss ever!

Mr. Shivers was my boss when I was in my mid-20s, both at the original SHIVERS BARBECUE on San Marco (right around the corner from my old house!) and at the other SHIVERS BARBECUE in Palatka back in the mid-90s. I worked for him full-time for about two years. Our fondest memories are of Bill smiling at Shivers BBQ. It was Jake's coffee stop throughout his Jake's Appliance Service workday AND our family go to place for a wonderful meal. Those times, Bill always made us feel like "family." TC's great peach cobbler and Bill's smile and chuckle were part of us! Bill you will be missed and remembered as a good guy who helped so many. Rest in peace, you touched many lives with your kindness. Prayers and sympathy to the family.

I'm so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was always so welcoming and friendly at the poker tables. What a gentleman. He will be missed.

We are so sorry to read about our long time friend Bill Shivers passing.
I first met "Bill" in 1962 when we were applying for a college course. A few years later our paths crossed again when we were taking a physical to work for the Florida East Coast Railroad and then we worked side by side for about four years. My wife and I introduced Bill to his future wife Linda Hall. We also joined the National Guard together and served together for several years. Bill and Linda married and they...
