Not sure what to say?

I failed to learn of William's passing until last week. I'm floored. I knew him for a loooong time from NC progressive lawyer circles. Though I'm 10 years older, he was only a year behind me at UNC Law. My deepest condolences to William's family.

Single Memorial Tree

Sincere condolences from the Davenport family. William was such a gentle soul. We will miss him.

To my life long friend of sixty four years. So many wonderful memories from our childhood in Plymouth and Columbia through our adult lives. Life doesn´t afford you many true friends but, William was was like a brother to me and I will always treasure his friendship and memories. Christmas will be very different this year without him.

Sending prayers, love and heartfelt condolences to the Rodman and Simpson families. I have very fond memories of William when he was just a small boy. Love Roosevelt, Hazel Harvey and family

I am very sad to hear of William's passing. We had some good times at UNC and I was always happy to see him at professional gatherings. He will be missed. My condolences to his wife and family.
