Bill was a great man and true friend. He is missed

I attended Akron Buchtel H.S. one year behind Bill, but I only met him after my college graduation and when Bill returned from Viet Nam. Bill was a great friend in the early '70s. With Jeff there were three of us. We bought pedal-cycles and rode around on them. We spent time with McInally's. We spent a summer in a cabin at his Uncle's farm. It was a good time.

Dave McInally's post reminds me of great times we all had on Marvin Avenue! Rest in Peace, Bill. Our love to your niece and her family.

Bill was our family's closest friend during my childhood years in Akron. He was always kind and attentive and was a blessing to me in more ways than he knew. My prayers are with all of his family and friends.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Bill's passing. I've known him since grade school. We were very close growing up. He was a wonderful man who will be sorely missed. RIP my friend.

I went to high school with Bill and remember him as a fun-loving and caring individual, He helped me through some rough spots in my life and I will be ever grateful to him for that. RIP Bill.
