Bill was a shining example of "how it works" in overcoming adversity and living a life in recovery. He touched many, many lives along his journey, mine included.

I worked with Bill for several years at First Wisconsin National Bank. He was a great person and will always be remembered.

Bill will be missed by many. I had the opportunity for him to walk with me for a short time on my spiritual journey . We attended some bible studies, catechism of the catholic church and other adult education offerings at St. Clare, Wind Lake, WI. Bill always had a smile and a joke to share. He was willing to share spiritual wisdom gained from his walk with God with anyone who wanted to listen. He served on committees and chaired some as well. Please accept my deepest Symppathy on the passing of my friend, Bill. One memory I will cherish is driving to and from Madison with Bill where he worked and I attended UW in the 80's. He did love his pipe. I will miss his rendition of Al Jolson's 'Mammy". I have so many happy memories of Bill and Phyllis, too many to mention. Went to grade school with him.
