Theisen, William L. Jul 12, 1925 - May 22, 2017 William L. "Bill" Theisen, a lifelong resident of Omaha, passed away at age 91 after a brief illness. He served in WWII as a signalman aboard the USS Columbia. He is preceded in death by his cherished and beloved wife of 65 years, Vera May Theisen and his son Larry W. Theisen. Also preceded in death by parents Frank and Irene Theisen, sisters Esther (Smolinski) and Virginia (Hynes), brothers Robert, Richard, and Jim. Survived by sister Gerri (Kleffman) and brother Tom Theisen as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Most loving grandfather of Mrs. Tracy L. Theisen-Niland of Las Vegas, NV and Lucas Theisen of FL. VISITATION: Thursday, May 25, from 6-8 pm. SERVICE: Friday, May 26th, at 1pm, both at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home. Rest in peace grandpa Bill I wish we could of known each other in this life. I suppose I will get an other chance when the day comes for me to come your way. Until that day comes. I am sure you are with grandma Vera and dad looking down over us. I will always keep you in my heart.
