Bill was one of those guys who was just easy to be around. I first met him as part of the instructor cadre for the BMW club, when I'd make the trek up to No Cal to instruct for him at Golden Gate chapter driving schools; both of us being racers, we got to be fast friends (pun intended ) and we'd bend each other's ear on the phone about all things BMW. I was amazed at his technical knowledge; he'd always have sound advice to give, along with just being fun to hang out with, not to mention...

RIP Bill. Without Bill, there would not have been NASPORT, one of the most successful and desirable to participate in sports car racing series in the SCCA. Bill was one of the three original founders, and with his dedication to what ever he did NASPORT became a household name among sports car racers worldwide.
