Not sure what to say?

Oh no! This one hurts. Mr. Whitted was my drafting teacher at North H.S. night classes. He was an amazing teacher and saw a lot of potential in me with drafting. Last I saw him as at graduation in 2000. All my best to his family, he spoke about you all very fondly. Thank you for the amaIng conversations during class sir! See you on the flipside. ❤

Miss your presence in my world...save a seat by your side,,,see you soon...Dre

I had the great honor of working with one of the finest educators at Walnut Ridge. Bill was just around the corner and was always willing to go out of his way to make my day go well as well as take the time to involve my students in the workings of his classroom. God is getting a heck of a teacher. Bill your one of the best in the world of education.

Mr Whitted was my 9th grade homeroom teacher at Ridge. He was always professional, funny, & thoughtful. As a freshman, he helped me adjust to highschool life and gave me the guidance and encouragement needed for me to succeed. He is going to be missed by me, Daniel, Q, and others who were fortunate enough to have him as a teacher.

R.I.P

Bill always had the latest gadget to share with his fellow teachers at Walnut Ridge HS. Like me, he was always taking pictures and we always were taking photos at proms and graduations. He had the latest digital camera at one of the Retired Faculty Luncheons last fall. His humor and brave attempts to speak Spanish in the teacher's lounge with me always made me smile.I know he's making angels laugh. He will be missed by many.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Whitted. He was a wonderful teacher. He always had some great stories. He will be missed. I will never forget him.

Walnut Ridge Class of '79.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Butch's passing. We lived in the same neighborhood and went to the same schools ... I looked so forward to seeing him at our 50th High School class reunion in September. May God bless the family during this time of bereavement and know that we the class of 64' holds him dear in our hearts. I deeply sorrow in adding his name and picture to the deceased classmates. Bless you family and God bless you.

Mr. Whitted was one of the teachers that motivated the students to do more, be more, dream more. While I didn't go into the electronics, he definitely made a positive influence. My deepest condolences to his family.

William has been a dear friend of mines for the past 56 years.I will sorely him. May The Good Lord bring peace and comfort to his family.
