William Yothment Obituary

WILLIAM "BILL" YOTHMENT SCHERERVILLE, IN

William "Bill" Yothment, of Schererville, IN passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013. He is survived by his sisters: Mary Kochis of Dyer and Helen Artim of Florida and Munster; sisters in law: Rosetta Yothment of Highland and Nivita Riley Yothment of Tucson, AZ; several nieces and nephews also survive. Mentioned also with great appreciation must be his compassionate care givers and friends, Cornelius Phin, Paul Gillard and nephew, Bert Yothment. Bill was the owner of Highland Metal Products in Highland for several years and later, Cline Heating and Cooling in Schererville. As a proud member of St. Michaels parish, he served as an usher for several years. He took his faith very seriously. His favorite hobby time interests were antique autos and his much loved dog, "Beau" a Siberian Husky. He cared for all animals, their care and protection. Bill served in the Military during World War II. Much of his time was spent in England patching flak ridden bombers. He was proud to be able to serve our country. Bill will be missed! A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 1 Wilhelm St. Schererville, IN with Rev. Ted Mauch officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. (Christian wake service 7:00 p.m.) at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave., (one-half mile south of US 30) Schererville, IN. I only knew Bill for a short time I lived by him and would see him walking
his dog. This I know. He is special heart of gold and his spirit lives on rest peacefully Bill we will miss you my friend. Until we meet again. Take care of Beau!!!! Sanya Dowling
