Dear Cousin Betty and Beverly, I am sorry to hear about the passing of Doc. He was one of my favorite people and a great inspiration in my life. We enjoyed more than a few times hunting rabbits. Sorry to hear about preacher Honea. He will always be a inspiration in my life. I very much enjoyed his time in my life. May my thoughts and prayers be with the family during this time of sorrow and my God strengthen and heal.

We are heartbroken to hear about Preacher Honea. He was kind, loving, and NON-judgmental.Betty I am so sorry for your loss and the loss of your family. I noticed he died exactly 3 months after mother and he preached her funeral. I can imagine her excitement when she sees him in heaven because, as you know, she loved both of you very much.

He was one of the sweetest most kind hearted people i knew. I grew up with him as my preacher at calumet his family and church families are in my prayers. We will be reunited when we all get to heaven.

Uncle "Doc" was one of the sweetest people I know. He was so loving and soft spoken. Truly a man after God's own heart! What an awesome time he must be having with Granny Honea! Praying for you all until you see him again! Much Love!

Preacher Honea was a wonderful man. He lead me to the Lord and baptised me. He later married me and preached my first born's funeral. He was there for me in a very difficult time in my life. I was very young when he came into my life and he made an impact that lasted a lifetime. I know if joey were still living he would say the same.
