During the early 50's Mary Elizabeth Parker worked in our home @ 288 Caroline Street for more than 3 years. I had three brothers and Mrs. Parker made our breakfast, packed our lunches and got us off to school on time.

She was a great influence on our family and I was always amazed when I later had Johnnie (Ace) and Willie as friends in high school. Mrs. Parker's family were all great students, athletes and well disciplined.

Real sorry to hear about willies passing.Being from Mechanicville playing football and basketball against Saratoga was like a war but our respect for each other grew and we looked forward to playing two basketball and one football game yearly. He was the best running back I played against. We became friends for those years and when I moved to Saratoga after college ran in to him a few times and we talked about the old days.

My deepest sympathy to the Parker family. It has been over 50 years since I last saw Willie but I remember his friendship, kindness, athletic skills among so many wonderful attributes that he embodied. I can only imagine all the lives he touched after his high school years but I thank him for touching mine in high school so many years ago. Rest in peace my friend.

Thank you for your service to our country. Rest In Peace.

My friend, my partner. Words can't express the respect I had for you and your family. I will always have your back my friend. Until we meet again.

My friend, my partner You can't measure the respect I had for you and your family. I miss you but will always have your back. Until we meet again.

Congratulations to the family on a life well lived from a fellow SHS '65 grad. He was always solid as a rock.

Years later I was in the National Guard with him and he was my OIC and helped me get into OCS to get my Commission . It saddens me to hear that we lost a Great Man like Willie . God must've had a plan for Him . God Bless you Willie , May you Rest in Peace . I hope the State Police and The National Guard both...
