I sailed with Bill on the Statsraad Lehmkuhl in 1972-73. He was a great shipmate and we kept in touch sparingly in the years since. If anyone from Bill's family would like to see pictures from his adventure with the Oceanics School, we have a website with many pictures. www.Oceanics72-73.com.

What an amazing resilient man Bill was. We knew him first as a fellow parent at an alternative magnet elementary school in New Haven., 25 years ago. He was always pitching in and brought such a friendly upbeat positive perspective to the table. Bill was someone who was present and available to talk and to lend a hand. He knew how to make a difference. When cancer was diagnosed and treated...when life changed course in unanticipated ways....Bill marched on, sailed on to new possibilities. ...
