Not sure what to say?

Thinking of you today. It's 23rd anniversary of 9/11 attacks. Thanks for you compassion and professionalism on this tragic day.

I listened to the phone call and Winston was so brave and understanding. His voice was just so calm and he really was a hero. Rest in peace Winston Sadler. "Which flight are you on?"

I just learned of Winston's death. I knew him as a high school student, and he was already a gentle man. He leaves a vacant place in the lives of all who knew him. Our prayers are for his family.

It was sad to hear the news of "W.C.'s" passing. Myself and W.C. announced ballgames in High School together. I have not had contact with him in 20 years but I regularly pass his parent's house and see them in the yard. My heart goes out to his family.

W.C. (as we always called him) was a year ahead of me in high school. Numerous times over the last few years I'd attempted to google him and see if his name would hit. Never did. Until tonight. Devistating news; even moreso since he was all the time here just a few miles from my home in Carrboro. Few people list both "school bus driver" and "Governor's School Student/English" (and 11 other things) under the Class of '79 accomplishments, but that's W.C. (as I remember him). RIP, WC.

My thoughts go out to his parents, Claudia & Courney Sadler, Winston got his great attitude and pleasant smile which seem to always brightened the world from his parents.
He will be missed.

I am still saddened to hear of Winston's passing, as sad as I was when I first heard the news. Such a kind, gentle, thoughtful man...with the patience of Job when dealing with more 'trying' agents such as myself. He brought calm when nerves were frayed, civility when tempers had flared, and customer service to such a high degree that it drew the love of his customers and the respect of his colleagues. It was a joy and an honour to work with him.

While I was not at AA for a...

What a great loss for all of us. I always knew when I had a supervisor call and I heard "This is Winston" (or later Roger Thompson!) that the situation would be handled promptly, correctly and with great compassion. The SERO will not be the same without him.

I had the pleasure and honor of working beside Winston for many years on the IRD desk. Winston had a way of always finding the right words to make things better, no matter what the situation. I'm so sad to hear of his passing.
