La Wanda Hill
August 11, 2013
You don't know me but I read the obit for Yolanda (which is my sister's name) today and saw that she passed less than 3 weeks after her loving husband passed. My mother passed on June 15th of this year and 2 days later my 89 year old daddy missed a bottom step and fell, hitting his head on a marble floor. My parents were married 69 years.
My heart goes out to all of you who has lost your daddy and then your mother in such a short span of time. I always thought this would be the case with me but with daddy in the hospital right now, I'm hoping we can get his dizzies controlled and he'll be with us a while longer.
Blessings to all of you. As a Christian, I know who's in control of all of this. And though I got mad at God for taking my mother, I just couldn't stand to see her suffering with that cancer. We only knew 3 weeks before that the cancer even existed.
Know that people you don't even know are praying for you during this time of sadness. I hope you find comfort in God's love and you mind is just flooded with wonderful memories.
