Yvonne Williams Murdock, age 72, of Terreton, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2007, at her home in Terreton.
She was born Feb. 23, 1935, in Treasureton, to J. Thomas and Thelda Maurine Jackson Williams.
She graduated from Roberts High School, attended Ricks College for two years and graduated from BYU with a Bachelor of Science.
She was sealed to Sterling "Bud" Murdock Jr. in the Idaho Falls LDS temple.
She was a teacher for 37 years teaching kindergarten through fourth grade where she wrote and produced Christmas Plays for the Hamer School. She battled with cancer for 17 years.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ or Latter-day Saints she served as a visiting teacher, Relief Society teacher, and a committee chairman in Scouting.
She loved and did so many things some of which were: her family, gardening, cooking at Mitch Jacobs Ranch-Island Park, 4-H leader, potato harvest crew manager, quilting, canning, farming, raising baby calves and bum lambs, working, working, and working.
Survivors include two daughters: Shelma (Kent) Miskin and Janice (Kirt) Williams; five sons: Dale Murdock, Mark (Michelle) Murdock, Craig (Kellie) Murdock, Terry (Rona) Murdock and Dan (Karen) Murdock; three sisters: Donna (Vernon) Jensen, Sharon (Jim) Park, and Elizabeth (Wayne) Pennell; two brothers: Darrel (Ila) Williams and Bruce (Leona) Williams.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her spouse, Sterling "Bud" Alva Murdock, grandson Ryan Miskin, and brother J. Thomas Williams Jr.
Funeral services will be held Saturday Jan. 5, 2008 at the Terreton Stake Center at 1 p.m. with Bishop Wade Yearsley officiating.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday Jan. 4 and from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., both at the Terreton stake center.
Burial will be in the West Jefferson Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
