We had the very good fortune to move in next door to Charlotte and Zane in 2004. We lived next to them for 12 years and Zane was such an incredible presence in our lives. Our kids adored Zane and couldn´t wait to pepper him with questions any time he happened to be outside when they were. One night a bat got in our house when I was home alone and Zane came over to rescue me, well really the bat. :) Zane lived an amazing life and certainly left an impression on our family.
