Not sure what to say?

You met my mother at 14yr old and taught her some much. After my mother passed we lost contact. I wish I had gotten to meet you again before you passed as an adult. To me you will always be my grandma Zina in New York with her Poodles.

My husband Gil and I met Zina as newlyweds when we became neighbors at 11 Riverside Drive. We thought that we wanted a puppy, and before we knew it, Zina had found "Lucy" - a sadly ridiculous looking chihuahua and corgi mix - tied up to the office of a local veterinarian. When we said that Lucy wasn't exactly the type of dog we had in mind, she laughed in that wonderful giggle of hers and purred - just keep her for a week. Of course we fell in love with Lucy that week, and thereafter...

I just found out about dear Zina. She was a long-time friend, and we share the same philosophy of life of kindness and caring for others, and a love for animals. We never missed calling each other on our birthdays and would enjoy long conversations. Her dedication and ability to inspire her students will be forever a lasting legacy. She was gift person in so many ways and will be dearly missed.

I just found out about Zina's passing. She was an inspiration and one of the kindest people I've ever met. She was an incredible teacher who cared so deeply for her students and wanted them to always learn and grow. I will miss you, Zina....

It was my work as Stage Manager at Trinity Rep. in Rhode Island that my relationship with Zina began and continued for years. I learned a great deal about life and friendships. I did get to speak with her recently; a short phone call. A great lady. A wonderful friend. I will continue to think of her.

Zina was my acting coach/teacher and a very close friend. She also was (at times) a second Mother and even a match maker. She was a great humanitarian. She was my core shaker who changed my life forever. I'm so lucky to have met you and so grateful to have you in my life. I will always love you Zina and forever miss you. RIP with all the other Stars.

She was a great teacher. I was lucky to have studied with her.

I didn’t know she had passed until I read
her obituary. We spoke a few months
ago and she was fine..We were first
cousins and I was very fond of her..
She was a beautiful person kind and
caring..I remember when we were young
she would take the train from the Bronx
By herself to visit my family in Brooklyn..
I loved talking with her about our family.
She will be missed.. so sad..
