Zoe A. TicePleasant Valley - For those of you who knew, and were friends of Zoe Tice, it is my sad duty to report her death on April 15, 2020. Zoe was a free spirit who lived her life on her own terms, and pursued many varied interests over the years. Zoe raised world class cocker spaniels, and...

Not sure what to say?

I can´t believe it´s been 5 years already. I miss Zoe all the time, our long talks over the phone and we both had a huge passion for cocker spaniels! She dedicated her whole life to the cocker breed. She also did it for her daughters and promised she would be the best cocker breeder. I had cockers from her over the years. Now, I have the beautiful Sabrina she´s 5 now. I often think, I´m heartbroken that Castletop Cockers is over. But at least I have the most beautiful gift from her before she...

Zoe was my neighbor in Pleasant Valley for several years, and we shared a love of dogs and organic living. She introduced me to Vitamin C and a wonderful recipe for fondue. Her two daughters were suffering from Cystic Fibrosis, at a time when there was little hope for recovery, but they required daily therapy, which I was able to help her with. Zoe added a richness to our lives and I am happy to have had the opportunity to know her. I am certain that she has joined her daughters in heaven.

I just re-read the message I sent in 2022, together with a photo of me holding my beloved Tuppence, who is now twelve. What joy I have known with four Castletop cockers! I know we will all meet again...and until then, we thank God for Zoe. May she continue to rest in peace.

It has been 4 years that Zoe passed. It went so fast. I miss her all the time. I can´t believe it is the end of Castletop Cockers, after so many years. I hope Zoe is with her two daughters in heaven. Miss you and RIP

My fourth "Zoe" cocker, Tuppence, is almost ten years old--and I cannot ever bear to think that her life will eventually come to an end. No more Castletop Cockers--what a devastating idea. Zoe was the absolute BEST cocker breeder ever. She lives with the angels and her deceased children now and they all love her to bits--as do we. "Fair winds and a following sea," as the sailors would say. XOXOXO, Eloise and Tuppence

On the anniversary of Zoe´s passing, I still miss her and think about her every day. I miss our long talks over the phone about cocker spaniels, and just life in general. I have a picture of her in my China closet to honor her memory every day. She had wonderful cocker spaniels and dedicated her entire life to breeding and raising world class cockers. She was a very smart and talented lady. She will be sorely missed. Now, I will raise this last pup that I got from her with joy and honor. I...

I knew Zoe many years ago when we were neighbors in Pleasant Valley, and her two daughters were still alive and vibrant, even though they struggled through their illness every day. Zoe taught me that it was okay to be different and to live my life accordingly. We shared recipes and ideas for organic living. Her memory will continue to be an inspiration to me. Rest in peace, Zoe.

So sad to learn of Zoe’s passing. I met Zoe in 2014 when she approved our family for the most wonderful black cocker puppy ever...our Sullivan. He was her favorite, a runt who had been bottlefed and loved so much by Zoe. She had a hard time letting him go and had thought about keeping him she told us. I still remember her face in the driveway as we pulled away. I promised her we would love and care for him always and we do, he is my other child! He is the smartest and most obedient dog I...

January 8 2021

We just learned of Zoe’s death after receiving a Christmas card sent to her returned. We sent an email with a picture of our Socrates returned and we did not know why. Unfortunately now we know. We picked up our chocolate boy Socrates on June 29, 2019. Of course we had to be interviewed by Zoe so she could verify that we would be good parents to one of her puppies. We passed with flying colors and were introduced to the three puppies Zoe had in her litter...
