Sophie Meshirer Obituary
She was born Nov. 16, 1926, in Ramapo to parents Alexander and Stella Kuplinski.
Sophie was retired as a legal secretary from Lexow and Berbit in Suffern.
Survivors include four children, Susan Sagliano, Harry Meshirer, Paul Meshirer and Nancy Kearns; six grandchildren, Sara Siano, William N. Sagliano Jr., Andrew Kearns, Connor Kearns, Eric Meshirer and Jenna Meshirer; a great-grandson, Giovanni Siano III; a sister, Frances Konior; a brother, Chester Kuplinski; a sister-in-law, Doris Kuplinski; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jean H. Meshirer, who died in 2011.
A Mass Of Christian burial was celebrated Nov. 20 at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern, with burial following at FW Loescher Veteran's Cemetery in New Hempstead.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
