PETER L. DUTRA
Peter was an accomplished artist specializing in landscape scenes of Rhode Island and Cape Cod. Peter L. Dutra, 75, of Middletown, passed away on September 24, 2018, at home.
Some of his work has been on display in some local Cape Cod galleries over the years. He also worked for many years at the Newport Art Association, the Arnold Art store and William Varieka Fine Arts. In his spare time, he enjoyed working with flowers and gardening.
Peter is survived by his brothers, Martin Dutra and Paul Dutra, both of Middletown.
He was preceded in death by his brother, John Dutra, and his sister, Jeanne Porter.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018, from 8:30-9:30AM, in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM, in St. Lucy's Catholic Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown.
His burial will follow at St. Columba Catholic Cemetery, Brown's Lane, Middletown.

My condolences to family and loved ones. Peter put the gentle in gentlemen. Considerate, Kind, and Thankful he surely will be missed! I was very lucky and looked foward to meet with him over many years during and after every snow storm. Angels await , Rest with love and peace .
