Dalton Dixon Obituary

BRANDON - Dalton Keith Dixon, 65, of Brandon, a former Daytona Beach resident who graduated from Seabreeze High School in 1959, died Monday at Florida Hospital, Zephyrhills. Mr. Dixon, an Army veteran serving in Germany and the Vietnam and Korean wars, moved to Brandon in 1943 from his native Plant City. He retired as a major from the Army in 1979. He sold real estate and was a bail bonds person for 15 years in the Tampa area. Survivors include two sons, Keith, Galloway, Ohio, and David, Rockton, Ill.; three daughters, Debbie Lyons, Greenfield, Ohio, Barbara Dixon, North Florida, and Ashley Gurney, Tampa; six brothers, Carl, Mike, Dickie, Doug and Billy, all of Daytona Beach, and Tom, Miami; two sisters, Patti Gallagher, Daytona Beach, and Sandy Martin, Miami; and 11 grandchildren. Neptune Society, Palm Harbor, is in charge.
